Hope everyone is okay post-Sandy. For those affected, our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. For the Halloween go-ers, please be safe, stay hydrated and keep a close eye on kids and their candy.

We are less than a week away from election day and in the DC, it’s a BIG event. While I’m not the biggest fan of politics, I acknowledge and fulfill my civic duty by voting.  Anywho, have you figured out where you’ll watch the election results that night (Tuesday, November 6, 2012)? If not, I’m here to help! After you vote, here are a few places to watch election night.

Busboys & Poets – All locations
Election Night event will be held at all locations for the entire day.

Election Watch Night Party – Washington Post Community Room, 1150 15th St NW, 7pm-1am
An event with music, refreshments and live coverage. Hosted by Urban Cusp, Very Smart Brothas, Impact, The Root DC & WPGC 95.5. Click here to RSVP

Capitol City Brewery – Shirlington, VA & Downtown DC locations, 11am-12 midnight
CCB will have an all day happy hour featuring their signature “Four Core” beers at happy hour prices and $5 select appetizers. Half dollar wings will also available all day (Shirlington location only).

Lincoln Restaurant
Featuring election cocktails for $8 and election inspired menus items like Kahlua Pork Belly-Cured with Brown Sugar served with
spiced pineapple mostrada (this dish $12). It’s said that space is limited! RSVP by emailing rsvp@lincolnrestaurant-dc.com.

Art and Soul – 415 New Jersey Ave NW, 4pm-results
Enjoy happy hour prices, in addition to $5 margaritas and fireflies until results are announced. Wearing your “I voted” sticker? Buy one Swing State cocktail for yourself and get one complimentary for a friend.

Penn Social Election Night Party – 801 E St NW, 9pm
Featuring drinks specials, games and giveaways

Del Frisco’s Grille
Wear your official “I Voted” sticker and receive a complimentary Partisan shot with the purchase of food or drink (21 and over, of course).

BYT 2012 Election Night Spectacular – Bohemian Caverns & LIV nightclub on U St, 5pm-2am
Brightest Young Things will be partying with games, drinks, cotton candy and a photobooth. Heard something about champagne, too. Advance purchase of tickets are suggested.

Poste Moderne Brasserie
Offering happy hour all day and bar menu service until 1am. Election-themed cocktails (one for Dems, Tea Party and Independent folks) will be available for $10.

Wear your “I Voted” sticker and receive a complimentary shot. DJ providing the tunes starting at 8pm. Join them for a champagne toast when the results are announced.
