It’s Wedding Wednesday at The High Life!! Today is all about wedding fun and games. While you may chose for your wedding to be more conservative or more laid back, every wedding should have an element of fun. Who wants to be bored at a wedding?? No one!

I’ve compiled a list of wedding fun and games you may want to consider for your special day. Each provide an element of fun for the you and the guests and make for great photos or keepsakes.

1. Ad Libs

Leave these on the tables during the reception or cocktail hour for guest to fill out.

2. Caricatures

Because everyone needs to laugh at themselves at some point.

3. Photo Booth

Who doesn’t love a good photo booth, especially with the use of props? Most photo booths print out two sets of photos. Ask guests to use one set to place into your guestbook and sign.

4. Cigar Roller

I love the idea of having a cigar roller. It’s unique, and yet a nice treat for the guys and gals who enjoy cigars.

5. Line Dances

You knew this was going to make this list. Who doesn’t want to do the Wobble at a wedding? Play one line dance song and everyone will be out on the dance floor. Trust!

6. Karaoke

If you are planning a wedding that is very laid back and full of fun, this may be the option for you.

7. Corn Hole (also known as bean bag toss)

This is a great game if you are having an outdoor wedding or reception. It’s a good for all ages and will provide the type of fun you’re looking for.

8. Flip Cup

I would reserve flip cup for the after party, but it really depends on your guests. You know them the best.

There are many ways to add some fun to your wedding. These are just a few. If you are looking for unique guestbook options, try Pinterest for some great ideas.

Planning a wedding in the DC/MD/VA area, a friend sent me a great Gilt City wedding deal. It’s all-inclusive package at the Hyatt Arlington for a wedding ceremony, reception and dinner for 100 guests! Check it out here.

Do you have any suggestions for additional wedding fun? Let me know! Would love to hear.
