If you’re familiar with the DC area, you already know that Georgetown is the go-to neighborhood in DC if you’re in the mood for shopping. Aside from more mainstream retailers like Zara, Urban Outfitters and Ralph Lauren, there are also quite a few individually owned boutiques that offer unique merchandise and shopping experiences. One such shop is the buried treasure located in the heart of Georgetown: Lost Boys.

But sorry ladies, this little gem is only for the fellas. I worked in Georgetown for a year and had no idea that this store existed until one of my friends asked if I had ever heard of it. After getting over the shock of having such a store fly under my radar, I knew I had to do go check it out!

Located at 1003 31st St., the brainchild of Kelly Muccio, Lost Boys opened 4 years ago and is heralded as a styling experience for men at the top of their game. This quaint boutique has the feel of a man-cave, and I mean that in the most positive, flattering way possible. The hardwood floors, exposed brick, and warm feel of Lost Boys is accented by plush leather chairs and even a flat screen TV. See what I meant by man-cave??

Lost Boys, the name is an ode to Peter Pan’s band of mischievous Neverland companions, carries such high end brands as Theory, Shipley & Halmos, Earnest Sewn and Band of Outsiders. The boutique has everything from men’s accessories to denim, outerwear and suit separates. A trip to this store is much more than a grab & go, it is a true styling experience. Kelly and her team strive to help their clients discover and shape their personal style while offering them some of the industries finest selections for men.

If you’re a guy, or know of a guy, looking for some help to define your personal style, I’d suggest you take a trip down to visit Kelly & her talented stylists at Lost Boys!
