As we move through spring and transition soon to summer, the annual spring cleaning process begins. While cleaning, it’s also a great time to get organized. Yes, there is a difference. Organizing is about getting maximum usage of your space and placing things where you can easily find them.

Clutter is never a good thing. You’ll be surprised at the effects organizing can have. It can save you time from having to search for something lost. It can also help to liven up a room a bit because everything has a place to be and looks neat.

Place loose items, such as keys or mail, on a tray. A tray could also be placed in the bathroom to hold toiletries.

Storage Furniture

Invest in furniture pieces that can be used for storage as well. They are good hiding places when company is coming over and you don’t have much time to thoroughly clean.  (The shoe ottoman below — Genius!)
