It’s April and that means the beginning of wedding season. (Yippee! More pictures and sights for me to see.)
Today’s Wedding Wednesday feature focuses on cuisine. The variety of foods highlighted can be served at any wedding function — a bridal shower, engagement party, reception, etc.
I believe the food you select for any wedding event should reflect your personality or food that you like. Yes, you want to provide options that all your guests will eat and enjoy — that is why bars and stations work so well. They allow people to eat what they want, how they want it. Food bars and stations are also fun because there are so many options.
If you have a have a favorite food truck, reach out to them and see about the costs for catering events. Food that is fun will be remembered and talked about… Trust me!
Below are some ideas that you can incorporate into the cuisine for your wedding events. The links below include sources or recipes, so click and find out!

Comfort food will always be a crowd pleaser.

Brunch / Breakfast
A way to save money on wedding expenses is to have it earlier in the day. Serving brunch can be more affordable because breakfast items are usually cheaper to prepare. Brunch is always fun. There’s so much you can do with it.

This is great! My fiance and I have been trying to brainstorm a food theme, and have thought about having a collection of our favorite comfort foods – though I tend to like snacky foods vs. having a favorite meal. This definitely helps point us in the right direction.
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!! Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness!! I think snacky foods can work as long as you have a good balance of items that people can get full on. I’m glad the post helped to spark some ideas for you.
